Fetch had been staring out at the lava field for quite some time now, and Jester was beginning to feel uneasy. Twice she'd attempted to step out onto the lava, and twice she'd been sent to 'rest' while the other courser stared out into the vast cavern. Jester wasn't sure what Fetch thought they were seeing, she couldn't see anything herself. But there was a current of urgency that stopped Jester every time she moved to step around the other courser, something screaming to listen...

Jester didn't know why she chose Fetch to escort her into the furance: perhaps it was the fact that they'd both been born in the dungeons, simply waking up - with nothing, and noone - to face a rather horrifying existence. Alone. It had certainly a character building experience, one she personally thought nobody should ever have to go through. Not being able to rely on anyone or anything but yourself was one way to speed run the 'discovering' your personality and quirks portion of it...
