This chamber is guarded by a statue of dark patinated bronze; it depicts a Courser in larger-than-life proportions rearing into the air, its face a silent scream. Perched on its back is a grim-looking human figure, her hands holding straps connected to a painful-looking apparatus in the Courser's mouth. The monument confuses you, but you do not have long to ponder it before a blast of fire bursts forth from the sculpted Courser's mouth.
