PIERCE
Matured - Stoic - Hospitable
Pierce is a seasoned veteran when it comes to the dungeons and one could say he soecializes in helping newbies find their way around the dungeon. He doesnt like to speak about his past and can come off as very gruff and even rude, but deep down he is a very compassionate and caring stallion, and only wants to help others.
Pierce felt the call of the dungeon when he was just a young colt. Being inspired by stories of travelers and his father sparked interest im delving into the dungeons, so he begged his parents to let him go. Although apprehensive, his parents allowed him to explore the dungeon under a mentor. They hired a mercenary named Crispin, a stallion that had been in the dungeons for an unknown amount of time, who helped guide Pierce through the dungeons.
Eventually Pierce no longer needed a mentor and he was free to explore the dungeons and what they had to offer. After some time he met a mare named Rosemary, and the two hit it off extremely well. They laughed and explored and traveled together, until they decided to start a family. Eve was everytging the two adventurers could ever hope for and the trio would soon traverse the mysteries of the dungeon together. Everything was perfect.
During a harvest season, Pierce had noticed it had gotten awfully quiet. He frantically searched the caverns around him, desperately trying to find his wife and child, but to no avail. He speculated they had gotten swallowed by The Hole, something that called so strongly to him while he was seeking his family. The tyrian stallion never really felt the same after that.
Pierce rarely wanders from the first level of the dungeon, trying to find eager newcomers to warn them of the dangers that lie in the overgrown caverns and keeping them from meeting the same fate as his late wife and child. He stumbled across a wild young puck while exploring the dungeon on his own one day, and the two hit it off suprisingly well despite their polar opposite personalities. Cassander became a close companion to Pierce as days went on and now the two are rarely seen without eachother. Pierce isn't exactly sure how to label their relationship, but either way hes extremely thankful for the puck's presence.
