Gerhart believes he's the absolute best courser to ever trot through a dungeon. He believes he's the pinnacle of horses. You may not like it, but this is what peak performance looks like. Nothing can sway him from this belief; not monsters, not more experienced dungeon coursers telling him he's an idiot, not the way he runs screaming and crying as fast as he can through dungeons so he doesn't have to be in there any longer. Truly, there's none better.

This isn't to say Gerhart thinks the world revolves around him (he KNOWS it does)- he does take other coursers' wellbeing into consideration and can't bear to see others' upset or hurt or fighting. He's the best courser ever, after all, and the best courser takes care of others with a witty (dumb) charm that can win over (befuddle) nearly any creature out there!
