not part of suncatcher's group and a major source of annoyance for them, since cervus tends to think they're 'too good' to receive or even give help. any other courser should be just like them and pull themself up on their own - you're not a real dungeon diver until you can take care of yourself, after all.

cervus comes from a long line of dungeon coursers and is an incredibly skilled fighter. however, they were always compared to their older brother, who was "better than them in every way." their parents often neglected cervus for him, forcing them unknowingly into fierce, if not crippling, independence. they're arrogant and mean and use it as a cover for their loneliness. cervus traverses the dungeon alone, with only their cat as a companion.
