Dungeonborn when adventuring coursers accidentally broke the phylactery of an ancient spirit trying to cheat death, Lurk has forged a subterranean life for herself that she defends enthusiastically from threats both without and within. She avoids surfacefolk and combats her fear of them by laying traps macgyvered together from the machinery of the Earthen Furnace that are not bad for someone who has only been alive and studying machinery for a few months. If that aptitude is thanks to the ancient spirit that occassionally pipes up in her brain, well, she's good at ignoring them. 

Her only companions are an obsidian golem that activated when she trotted past one time and a single surface courser who befriended her for just long enough to name the pair of them before disappearing.
