Dungeon Coursers

Wicke was just a foal when Orpheus found him wandering around just outside one of the many entrances to the dungeon. Barely older than a yearling himself, the elder Courser took him in- unbeknownst to his parents- and treated him like a brother, providing for him as best he could. Wicke has finally come of an age where he can venture into the dungeon himself, and so he is ready to join Orpheus on his dives- and on his quest.

Though Orpheus was hardly more than a child himself when he started taking care of Wicke, he took on the responsibility gladly. He loves his adopted brother more than anything else in the world, and will protect him- no matter the cost- when they descend into the dungeon together.

Wicke finds Melenna to be a treasure trove of hilarity; her jealous attitude and surly nature are endlessly amusing to him. He can easily tolerate her verbal jabs and sharp insults- he knows she doesn't really mean them. She's always ready to help with anything he needs, and he finds her to be extremely reliable.

Melenna may not particularly understand where Wicke's boundless energy and cheer comes from, but he's a decent enough companion in the dungeon. She may not seek his companionship out, but she doesn't complain when he comes to find her- he's a pleasant enough sort that she's always willing to hear out his requests.

An elder brother- and one who has been endlessly kind to him, even when he was young and decidedly troubled. Wicke considers Altassian to be an excellent role model and an even dearer friend; it helps that Orpheus, too, holds the Courser in such high regard. He might not understand the nature of Orpheus and Altassian's relationship, but he supports both of them when he can.

The strength of Altassian's love for Orpheus is only very nearly matched by his familial regard towards Wicke; he considers the younger Courser to be his younger brother and treats him accordingly.
