Merrick has had a rough life, giving him a very rough exterior. He is often referred to as "The Unshakeable Wall". It is rumored that as a teenager he moved from place to place with his parents, often going into dungeons for safety, no matter how dangerous they seemed. Anything was better than being... out there. He has many tales that he seldom tells- now working as a hired guard for strangers.
