An ancient courser who has seen many friends and family members disappear into the dungeon, never to return. Somehow, he still remains. Candescent expects that one day, that will be his fate as well. He can only try and rise to meet it.

In the meantime, he tries to look out for his surviving family and loved ones. Most of his family doesn't actually know how they're related, at this point, but are too afraid to ask. Candescent projects a very noble and sorrowful air that makes it hard to be silly or light hearted in his presence. He is so, so, very tired. And yet, he persists.
