[EASY] A Tight Squeeze
Chant and the other's quickly backed away from the collapsed floor in front of them. Ears rigid, muscles tense, breath heavy.
Arthur reared onto his hind legs and pushed the rest back before pushing past them to go the other way, ending up back into a fork in the road. "Grr...I'm getting tired of these impassable dead ends!" He huffed with frustration.
Hellish let out a somewhat impatient huff. "If you're so tired of it, then stop making every path impassable."
Arthur narrowed his eyes at the other, however he did his best to shake the anger out of his mane. As much as he craved to have another spat, it was clear that the four of them were just heated from the constant tossing. "We need to keep moving."
Chant huffed with a confident smirk. "Hm. Lead the way then."
The heraldic shot a glare at the other stallion before whipping his tail back at him while continuing down another path.
Eventually, the party found themselves trudging down a tight and narrow walkway. The walls lightly hugged their body, the air eerily cold as it moved through their lungs.
Chany's body shivered as he held his head high, a small grunt escaping his throat. "Can we move any faster? I'm dreading the thought of smelling like your arse when we get out."
Reverend's ears perked forward and he glared down at the stallion in front of him. "You'll be lucky if I don't trample you."
Arthur grumbled, lifting his legs high to try and step through the pathway faster, but when he felt the walls only hugging his body tighter he quickly realized that the walls were shrinking into him and the rest of the party.
"Guys, c-can we back up??" He spoke in panic.
Hellish wheeze a bit at the sudden, more intense squeezing. "No—its tightening here too."
Chant could feel his heart throbbing in his ears as he fought to nudge Arthur forward with a growl. "Move. Go!"
Arthur yelled at the sudden push before pushing himself back slightly with a returning growl. However both of them were silenced at Hellish roaring. "Could you two stop fighting for a moment?? The walls a shrinking, we need to move!"
The party flinched at the yell. Their bodies were growing musty and sticky, racing hearts and panicked, tense muscles. They couldn't turn backward, and the walls didn't seem to be waiting for them to decide.
Arthur grit his teeth and pushed forward with a small sound of struggle, ears rigid. "Gods—please let there be an exit. I'd rather not have my body die here."
The very moment that Arthur spotted an opening, he desperately moved forward with a quicker breath. He grunted and groaned, fighting against the cuts and bruises that began to form on his body. "I see the opening, keep going!"
