Every Courser hears the call of the dungeon in their lifetime. Most answer. Some don’t. What is it you seek here beneath the surface: Treasure? Adventure? Or something harder to define?

Meleph calls himself a scholar, and it's true that he spends most of his time studying specimens found in the dungeon...but then there's the problem of funding, and the convenient solution is that there are plenty of valuable plants and animals down here, if you know what you're doing and don't have too many questions.
