Having grown up on the wild, windy moors aboveground, Cairn made for an unlikely adventurer. When the hills rumbled and the tors fell, a new dungeon entrance formed and he found himself a new purpose: discover the cause of the Change.

Initially clueless, terrified, and completely unprepared, Cairn has found firm friends in his travelling companions Polaris and Freja (his hawk). He's now something of a savvy dungeoneer, although he still feels like a novice every day.
