Aldrich came to a stop as he slowed downed- he lost sights of the hell hounds, more so where was he. He turned around having half suspected Adeline to follow but she hadn’t.

“Allldriccchhhh” came a haunted voice that bounced off the walls, the courser to a guarded pose as he looked around. He was thinking for a moment it was Adeline or Terrence but neither one was here- nor did they follow or are the folk to prank. His eyes darted around  as he tried to locate the source. “Your time in nearing child.” Aldrich grunted his teeth as he looked around more frantically.

“Show yourself you fiend,” Aldrich said as he watched the entranceways. Being careful to not expose his back to either, till dead ahead he say a small flickering flame it’s size only growing to it softly resembled a form of a courser, cloaked gently in a hood. Aldrich brows furrow as he stared at it. “How do you know my name.”

It let out a childlike giggle. “It’s been awhile since I have seen a child of glided dragon here.“

“Don’t call me that.” Aldrich said angrily his ears pinned back but it only seemed to make the flame even more excited that it hit a sensitive spot.

“And a twinnnnnn.” It shrilled, as it flickered nearly dancing in a way. “there is no escaping what is to come~” it hummed lightly, as its colors shifted to a more golden color. “Going to be a pleasure to watch the gilded dragon twins.”

“Aldrich!” Came the loud voice from Adeline, it startled the figure at first nearly extinguishing it. Before it burned even brighter. “I swear he went this way.”

“I trust your guts here- but him running off and you shouting like this-“ he could hear Terrence just winch.

Aldrich turned back towards the flickering flame as it started spewing a bunch of non sense that he couldn’t understand. He didn’t agree with this normally but- with the unhooking of the water skin to his side he used what water he had stored. The figure like out a sizzling shriek.

“Vile vile creature!” It’s sizzled as it started closing it on itself abandoning the cloak, quickly wisping away to seek refuge somewhere else. Aldrich furrowed his brows deeply watching it- it’s weird obsession must have been some dungeon trick, just something to through them off to scare them out.

“There you are.” Came a sigh from

The coriander as Adeline walked through, stepping around the singed cloak with a worried look. Terrence followed after her, looking concerned at the twins. “It was so silent we were worried.”

“Silent?” He said curiously- he looked to say something but chose not to which causes their Contract to raise a brow.

“Let’s get you both up to the lower level for now- get some rest. The dungeon may have gotten to the both of you.” He said, the twins looked to argue but at this point what was it to matter. Adeline was swore and Aldrich basically seemed to make a conversation in his head.

Terrence was quick to leave them once or a safer level- taking some coins as “compensation”. With a new batch of supplies as a few days rest the twins set off into the dungeon again-
