Flynn had been very quiet since their brush with the magical mirror that had kept all of them trapped there except for Edos. It seemed that Edos was the only one who saw his current image.

Ravin was still reeling over seeing himself wrapped up with Nathaniel. That was quite honestly the last thing he ever expected to see because he had buried his own emotions so deeply that he was convinced he didn't feel them anymore. Now being brought face to face with the reality that he was still pining was very sobering.

Edos didn't give them much a debrief this time, he was in a bit of a funk because when they came back to the camp they found out that Kamphire had gone into the dungeons. 

"Let's avoid the area with the mirror," Edos decided, "We found another interesting passage way beyond it that will need Flynn to decipher it, but it doesn't seem to be as difficult."

"Hopefully we friend treasure. Mirror scary!" Flynn muttered.

They all agreed with him. Even the pets had seemed mesmerized by the mirror, who know what would have befallen them if not for Edos' immunity.

Ravin was a bit surprised though that Edos hadn't seen himself and Kamphire in the mirror. What was the difference between him pining and Edos? 

In due time they reached the the wall with the strange markings on the floor. They had travelled over an hour, heading downhill to get here from the waterlogged crossways. They stood aside and watched as Flynn look over the artwork. When he stepped on certain tile you could hear machinery clanking and gearing up in the back. This was truly an elaborate door lock.

"Given what we found behind the last locked door, this is kinda given me the creeps," Samantha muttered.

Ruin was flying around in circles and occasionally teasing on the the canines by dive bombing them. Diego especially seemed amused by this and was playing along but Isiah was ignoring it completely.

Alec was floating by Kamphire's side muttering about treasure and shinies.

"That ghost is so obsessed with money," Ravin commented.

"He and Flynn suit really well," Samantha declared with a chuckle.

Edos shook his head and pulled out his map to study it.

"Hey general," Ravin started, going over to him and whispering.

"Hmm?" 

Edos flicked him a questioning look.

"Are you moody because you are worried about Kamphire?" Ravin asked.

Edos huffed out a short breath and put away his map.

"I am but what Samantha said before had merit. I was going to argue back then, but now that I have had time to calm down and let her words settle. I see her point of view," Edos explained.

"That's good..."

Edos held his gaze, "Do you want to tell me about what you saw in the mirror?"

"Um.. no.." Ravin said quickly.

Edos had even suggested that they talk to Yudil, the militia doctor and therapist but he definitely didn't want to fall into the clutches of that madman. 

"Hm... maybe I can guess what it is since you look so shy and reluctant," Edos said and Ravin pranced back nimbly.

"No, no, no!" he denied and Edos smirked slightly.

Feeling exposed and reluctant to be even more so, Ravin turned his attention back to watching Flynn try to master the mechanism.
