[HARD] Downward Ever

The unknown mechanisms that had stopped - and started another sound in the distance - once they arrived held an eerie, ill feeling to them.

Even Flume halted his slow crackling murmurs that had been managing to almost form words he'd heard, as if unsettled too. Splatterpunk was ready for the stirring spirits to be at rest again - their affecting of their own familiar an added twist down the center of their spine. Uncertainty gnawed at them.

Rake stepped around in the low light, face in close to the gears, examining them as Flume did the same, but 'touching' with it's fire, it's self.

"Careful." Murmured Carcer. "The little one isn't solid, but you're flesh same as us, Rakehell, I wouldn't want you pulled in if it starts anew."

"By the face, no less." Everglow added - he'd been keeping close to Stagcliffe, fronting more friendly conversation topics to him then he did most of who came along with him and Splatter. Splatter didn't fault him that. Ever needed more friends, after all.

"Mm." Rake replied, not drawing back his face.

"As you traverse a series of winding passages, you come upon an enormous clockwork mechanism embedded in the wall, its gears grinding and clicking ominously. The mechanism suddenly stops, and you hear the distant sound of something heavy falling, echoing through the halls.

Your party must make a Cunning check to reset the mechanism before the impending collapse occurs."
