Still, even he got turned around sometimes, and The Broken-heart found him swearing angrily at his wayward wisp, who had allegedly gone haring off down a series of tunnels, getting them both uttery and hopelessly lost.
Broken-Heart offered to bring him back to the surface, and he kindly promised them a favour at a later date, which they accepted most graciously.
