When the Fallingstar Knight was just a small squire,  The Broken-Heart Knight took her out on frequent jaunts to lower levels of the dungeon, accompanied frequently by a mercenry, jokingly referred to as "a babysitter"

The first of these jaunts had been to the Moor of Sleep, bone-strewn and eerily quiet... concerning to the young courser.  Terrence was a solid, comforting presence on the trip, and began to regale the squire with tales of long-ago times, where he had accompanied the Broken-Heart Knight down into the dungeon, prior to the formation of the Brightblazes. He'd served as something of a mentor to the crowned courser, showing them the ropes of dungeon delving safely, bringing them safely back each time. Considering they had lived a scholarly life at the time, not daring to set foot in the dungeon until it's call became unbearably strong, it had been a stiff adjustment, and Broken-Heart, though they went by a different name at the time, had struggled greatly to adjust.

Still, the trio, two "generations" of coursers mentoring one another in the dungeon, made a merry band on the Moor of Sleep. Fallingstar held their head, even in the view of bones and strange appidations, and Broken-Heart was proud of the youngster.

MMmmmh I promised myself I'd start writing proper Lore for my horsies.

Mentorship is common between Coursers. Did someone aid you when you were just starting your dungeoning career?
