[DD1] the tale of cassius I
Light snores travelled from under the weeping willow tree; the only sound heard for miles. The snores came to a halt and a long stretching sound along with a deep groan took it’s place. A large, built horse emerged from under the hanging leaves, shaking off it’s dark fur. It had short yet messy hair, with a bushy, curly moustache, and long legs with large hooves.
From an outside perspective anyone would assume this was a big, scary beast, but deep down he was a gentle giant. A gloomy gentle giant at best.
Stepping forward, he looked up towards the night sky, the stars reflecting in his eyes. He had clearly overslept and was now in for a treat when entering the caves. Deeply sighing, he grabbed his dagger before setting off. This dagger was very special to Cassius, he inherited it from an old friend; an old friend he would see in his dreams every single night without fail. It brought him comfort and provided him with safety, so he brought it with him everywhere - wherever the dagger was, he was.
He glanced quickly at the sky again, one star twinkling more than the others. His eyes softened and his heart yearned, “We will meet again dear friend.”
