This level of the dungeon is lush. So lush, in fact, that she only needs to carry a couple water skins. Really, just her usual and her backup. Auryn feels like she doesn't need to worry all that much about it, with plenty of places to refill and water sources that seem inviting enough. Easy enough. Clean enough. Sure, sometimes they taste a little bit like algae or murk, but they're certainly not dangerous. As long as her standards are low enough, she gets on just fine. Was it ideal? Not always. But it's enough to resolve the worries that rattle around between her ears.

When the sound of a brook draws her in, though, something about it seems strange. Too placid, too inviting. Had she struck the jackpot, or was it too good to be true? Running water was always safer than standing, but this is... hm. Drawing closer to it, brow creasing in the middle, she tries to take stock of the situation. It's a beautiful sight, the running water with the rainbow sheen and a smell that was certainly different than any she'd stumbled upon in the dungeon before.

By now, the girl knows the dungeon is full of tricks. With great interest, Auryn approaches the brook. Downstream from where she'd choose to drink, the girl tentatively pokes at the surface with a hoof. Carefully, submerging it at first. Testing to see if more would break than just the surface tension. Splashing into it, the water feels... normal enough. Cool, and behaving normally where it flowed around her disturbance.

A bit more confident now that nothing bad had happened, she moves upstream. Tentatively lowering her lips to drink from the pool, the girl wouldn't say she's scared. No, just careful. Sipping from the pool... it seems fine. Everything seems fine, though the taste is cool and sweet. She'd take this opportunity to refill her backup water skin, before continuing.
