"There is no shortage of crevices in the dungeon to catch your hoof. You find yourself wedged in the rock! What do you do?"

Rhodes has been traveling alone for days in the caverns. Avoiding hazards, appeasing creatures, and looking for ways to make the the routes safer for those who come after him. This isn't his first run through the dungeons, but it's the first time he's done it alone in a very long time. Walking through the cavern he notices rock piles lining the pathway. They become more frequent the deeper he goes down the corridor, increasing in size and making the cave more difficult to navigate. While trying to climb over the largest pile yet, Rhodes slips on the loose gravel. Larger rocks fall with the gravel and land on his hooves, trapping his left hind foot under a heavy pile of stone.

"SHIT!" He yelps as he catches himself before causing more rocks to stir. After stabilizing himself, he pulls at his hind foot trying to get it free.... but no dice. The rocks have his foot pinned and Rhodes becomes increasingly aware of his foot starting to numb under the pressure. "IS ANYONE AROUND? I COULD USE SOME HELP!" Rhodes shouts down the corridor. He can't see or hear anyone nearby, curses himself as he noses through his pack for something useful. While digging, he suddenly hears a bird call from the side of the path he had not yet travelled. Rhodes neighs in response, encouraging the creature to come closer. Shortly after, a hawk comes into view. It's brown body gliding through the cave and landing on the rock pile that has him trapped. It blinks and stares at Rhodes as he continues trying to pull his hoof free to keep moving. "Damn it, I wish you had come with a friend." he mumbles under his breath. The bird cocks it's head and flies off behind the pile suddenly, disappearing from view.

Rhodes groans and leans against the pile to rest for a minute. He mulls over his options and starts nudging the rocks he can away from his hoof as the caves return to silence. He remains this way for several minutes, maybe even up to a half hour, he begins to lose track of time. He's about ready to resign himself to sleeping in this heap of rock when the sound of growling and scratching noises against the stone. Rhodes still can't see anything but he hears it get closer from behind the pile of rocks. Suddenly, he hears the hawk again, and more growling. It sounds like a fight, but the rock pile begins to shake as the scratching noises start up again. Before he knows it, a very rough looking badger pokes himself through the pile of rock. The badger ferociously burrowing through the pile as he attempts to escape the same brown hawk Rhodes saw before. The bird is pecking and taunting the badger towards Rhodes. He tries to stay out of it, but struggles with his hoof still stuck in one position. Not a few seconds later, the badger's burrowing and fighting of the hawk sends the rock pile falling even more than before.

Rhodes takes a few hits from the loose gravel and stones, but quickly feels the pins and needles of feeling coming back to his hoof! He looks down and sees it finally freed from the rock as the badger continues scampering away from the hawk. He stands up and adjusts himself, ready to get out of here before something happens again. "I suppose I better find someone to travel with in here." He mutters as he starts making his way out of the cavern. As he starts seeing green growths and signs of life, he hears the same hawk call before it suddenly lands on his shoulder. Rhodes peeks over to see the brown hawk content in his position, preening his feathers as if he's getting a ride. Rhodes chuckles to himself and keeps moving, "I guess you'll do for now."
