The party goes deeper and deeper into the labyrinth of corridors, looking for something only Ignacy can name. There is some tension, but maybe only Prayer can actually feel it. When it looks around Tu Shen is as stoic as always and Cass seems a bit amused by it all. Prayer can’t tell if Ignacy is blushing whenever he looks at Prayer or if that’s just his usual shade of red. 

They venture past the chasms and back into more solid ground. 

“Oh, be blessed,” Cass murmurs when they reach a solid corridor. 

Ignacy clears his throat. “Indeed, maybe that’s for the best.”

They don’t walk for long until they find a locked room and Prayer picks the lock. Inside there is a hidden oasis, full of luscious plans and a small fountain, filled with still flowing water. From the ceiling hang vines, deep green, almost jewelry in tone, seeming rich and inviting. On some of them are flowers, open wide and smelling delicious. Their red petals seem to be made out of rubies, but maybe that's just the dew from the humid air. 

“Perfect, we stay here for the night,” declares Ignacy. “As usual, do not eat the plants and be careful about the water. But we should be safe-ish for a while.” 

“I don’t know about it,” Prayer says, looking skeptical at the vines.  

“What do you mean?” 

“It seems… Too perfect. We shouldn’t settle just yet. I’ll scout the room first.” 

Ignacy shrugs and Cass chokes on the air attempting not to laugh. Prayer sends Cass a sharp look but then glances at Ignacy. Oh, he’s pretending not to care so much. Oh, that is in fact hilarious. 

Cass chokes again and Prayer stops smiling immediately. It ventures into the room as Tu Shen checks on Cass if everything is alright. 

Somewhere within all those plans there is light. Prayer doesn’t want this light hidden so after a moment of consideration it shows Myrrah to go back to the party. The little flames leaves its master sadly and floats towards the second best horse around - Ignacy. Prayer sighs heavily, annoyed about everything about itself and Ignacy. For a moment it doesn’t look where it’s going and that is enough for the trap to activate. 

One moment Prayer is walking on the ground, the next it is hanging upside down by the ankles. A scream leaves its surprised mouth too quickly to counter its existence. 

“A little help?!” Prayer screams as it struggles with the vines that are overcoming its body more and more. 

And then there is a swipe through the air, the sharp steel of Tu Shen’s blade cutting through the blades. Prayer doesn’t land on the floor painfully thanks to a cushioning spell Ignacy casts and the two exchange quick glances. 

“I’d do it for everyone in the party,” Ignacy says and clears his throat. 

“Sure,” is all Prayer can utter. 

The vines are now trying to attack everyone in the party but they fight them off, backing towards the door. Soon enough they exit the strange place and close the door behind, including Ignacy casting a sealing spell on it. Cass checks on Prayer but the plants weren’t poisonous. The party moves on and doesn’t talk about what happened here and why, even if everyone is thinking about it.
