After leaving behind the lit brazier, the two coursers made their way even deeper into the depths of the fiery caverns, as the lava seemed to be getting more and more in the way, lava falling everywhere around them as it poured into the ground. With every step they went deeper into the dungeon, everything seemed to get hotter and hotter so the two of them decided to go into one of the side caverns to try and get away from some of the heat. Siegmyer with his googly eyes shook up and down in approval as he too wanted to get out of the heat. As they went into the side cavern, Kai used his golden light spell so they could see and made their way through. The walls seemed like they would cave in at any moment as the intense heat turned the rocks into rubble as they would fall every now and then. At the end of the tunnel they came to a giant face in the wall. Its eyes glowed red hot and its mouth gaped in an eternal shout of rage. Kai realized that its mouth was actually a door, and it appeared to be the only way forward. “What do you make of this door terrence?” The golden courser turned to face his friend and he seemed to be just as puzzled as he was. “I'm not sure what we can do really, maybe we will have to come back with the proper key and then we will be able to open it.” Kai lowered his head as this was going to be the second time today that they had to leave something behind, and he wasn’t getting any gold from any of it. As they made their way back into the heated caverns of the lava dungeon, they stood and looked over the area, seeing if they could see anything that stood out to them in the lava. There was nothing apparent. The two of them had to leave for now and come back later once they got anything.
