[DD2] The lit brazier - kai

As Kai and terrence continued their adventure underground, they made their way through the lavapools that surrounded them, the path at times getting narrow and only one of them could cross at a time the lava threatening to take their lives at times and the caverns surrounding them seemed to go on forever. Seigmyer rode in his pouch with his eyes shaking the whole way through as the two stallions came across an old door that appeared to be a lit brazier, impossibly old and emanating a rare chill into the furnace. Its flames seem to never burn away the coal. “I think that we should try and take it back so we can sell it!” Kai leaned over and asked the black courser next to him if that was something that they could do. “I don’t think we can, I don’t want to touch it and see what happens.” seigmyer’s eyes shook up and down rapidly in agreement with terrence, so kai sighed as he was sad that he wasn’t going to get any gold from it. The two of them went ahead and left it alone and went through the door that was next to it. Inside there was nothing really of value as everything was old and damaged and unusable. “Are you sure we can’t take it for gold?” The golden courser pleaded to Terrence as there seemed to be nothing of value in the room that they were in, then Terrence shook his head as he had a bad feeling that they shouldn’t touch it. At that the two of them turned around and left the area in search for another artifact or a treasure chest to have for their own.
