Once again, Raigon was traversing the depths of the underground dungeon as he always was, the heat threatening to overwhelm him as he glanced around the area. Pools of lava were everywhere down here at the lowest levels of the Earthen Furnace, but something seemed to capture his attention, spotting movement out of the corner of his eye. Something was moving beneath the surface of the fiery liqud, causing slow, sloshing ripples that disturbed a pit of the pool before the creature began to crawl out. It was a very skinny path to get to the platform where it had chosen to stay, so the stallion started leaning his head to the side, thinking about what the odds were that he would fall in. “Should I try and make it, little buddy?” he turned and looked at his companion and it started to glow bright and the courser nodded his head in agreement. He walked along the path like it was a tightrope, swaying back and forth a bit, but luckily he made it to the otherside without falling to his demise. He confidently strolled up to the little critter that caught his interest and it appeared to be a salamander that strayed too far from the lava and was noe cooling off. He could recall that these sort of reptiles were valuable, but he couldn’t remember what is was that made them so valuable. The courser didn’t really want to take this creature in for a profit, so he decided to pick it up and put it back into the lava to save him. Once it was safely back in its pool, the small creature started swimming around in the lava and jumped out a bit as if thanking the courser for saving him before it swam away. Raigon felt good about saving the little guy and wanted to continue down this path to see what else he could find down here.
