  • As you venture into the caverns, the light from the surface grows dimmer and dimmer. Darkness will be your constant companion from here on. How do you navigate the dark? Do you adapt to it, or fight against it?

Losgrin returned to the Dungeon, wishing to continue the journey he had started before providing assistance to the lost adventurer. This time, Los was rather excited to explore what lie within the caverns of the Dungeon. He began advancing into one of the various paths the Dungeon had to offer. Losgrin enjoyed that around each turn, there was something new.

He noticed as he pressed forward, deeper into the Dungeon, the light became less and less. Not exactly thrilled, he continued forward. He had to satisfy the deep craving he had been feeling to explore the Dungeon. As Los walked along, he wondered how the Dungeon came to be, what kind of secrets it truly held, exactly how big was the Dungeon, and a multitude of other mind-boggling thoughts. A loud screech pulled Losgrin from his thoughts. Losgrin snorted and froze, standing for a minute or two. With his legs still splayed out from his scare, he moved his ears and turned his head, only to fully realize he had been consumed by total darkness.

His mind raced, hearing the screech almost made him jump out of his hide. He couldn't see, which caused him even more fright. "Great how will I mark my trails now? I can't see a freaking thing", he mumbled quietly to himself. He didn't want the source of the screech to seek him out. As Losgrin stood, he noticed his eyes beginning to adjust. Though faint, he could make out a few stones, mostly covered in moss. He squinted to see the spiders climbing around, weaving their webs.

Losgrin breathed a sigh of relief. Albeit slightly impaired vision, he could see well enough to find his way around. Losgrin placed his nose to the ground to sniff. He breathed in the scent of past adventurers who had trod the pathways before him. He forgot to utilize one of his best senses- his nose. Los continued forward, taking carefully calculated steps. He moved rather nimbly, deeper into the Dungeon. He told himself he was looking for some sort of light guide, but the truth of the matter is his curiosity was certainly getting the better of him. He just had to know what could be found within the deep depths of the Dungeon and had no intention of stopping until he discovered it.
