[DD2] Why Does Halbert travers the dungeon- Halbert

0 Favorites ・ 0 Comments

Ever since halbert was a little course he was always bullied and made fun of, not only for his appearance as a bunny, but because he was always on the bigger side than everyone else. As everyone grew and got more lean and muscular, he seemed to just get bigger and everyone still made fun of him for it. The reason the terracotta goes into the dungeons is to not only prove to himself that he can be an adventurer , he wants to prove to all the courses that bullied him wrong as well. Even though he went through all that trauma growing up, he never lost his spirit and never let it turn him into a mean or evil courser. He is still as lively and chipper as ever. Now that he is older he was able to find an adventuring group that he could call friends for the first time in his life, and he has a companion that is a golden hound that he can take on adventures with, so even when his party isn’t around, he can still be brave in the dungeons with him by his side. “Are you ready buddy?” Halbert looked down at his companion as the hound’s tail wagged back and forth in response.

Every Courser hears the call of the dungeon in their lifetime. Most answer. Some don’t. What is it you seek here beneath the surface: Treasure? Adventure? Or something harder to define?
