As you enter a narrow corridor, your hoof lands on a loose cobble and triggers a trap. intermittent flames thrust up from the vents lining the floors. Halbert times the flames and pushes his golden hound to the end quickly so he would be safe, the fire rushing through the floor as he watches to try and time it. He was on the heavier side, so he wasn’t sure if he could quite make it or not. When he thought he had the timing right, his eyes widened big as he had tripped over a rock and he started rolling forward on the ground, somehow dodging and avoiding all the traps that tried to get him. As he stood up on the other side and deactivated the traps, his eyes were still wide as he looked around quickly to make sure no one saw what happened, even though he knew no one would be there. The golden hound ran over quickly and licked at his companion, happy that he survived the traps. after that whole debockle, he went ahead and entered the next room and saw what appeared to be a chest in the middle of it. As he went to go and open it, the chest started bounsing alive and snapped and his hoove. Halbert quickly tried to swat it away with his shield and his hound kept it distraced while the two of them made it out alive before the mimic tried to eat them for dinner.
