Neverafter Notes
Tried to do some event art but found drawing horses hard, so took a break to get a more precise image of how I see Neverafter "Nev" in my head while doing some redlining!*
I see Nev as a more drafty version of the Courser "standard", she's a big, bulky, workhorse kinda gal - like those bulky mustangs that occassionally pop up - with some light feathers. The scarring idea is inspired by felinequine's stunning Balerion! I decided against it for now, but maybe one day she'll get some scars?
* redlining, as I use it, means going over an image using a red pen to create a rough outline/shape to body pieces to use as a skeleton for a sketch layer that I add more personalized details to. This is used to train anatomy while giving my brain a wee break - and helps train your eye to catch anatomy like leg length (apparently!)
