Pyrr was exploring some of the dungeon closest to the surface with his adoptive mum Scarlett, whom was close behind her charge with her pack of exploring supplies. He didn't stay far from her, Pyrr occasionally scittering back to her side when a noise he wasn't sure of concerned him. The growing colt was getting a bit more confident with each noise and sight he became familiar with from the supervised excursions with both or one of his parents.

A few good minutes before he would be the one to first encounter the strange cavern of glowing mushrooms, the only source of light surrounding him and Scarlett in that small moss and shroom covered room. Pyrr looked around with young curiosity at the mushrooms around, Scarlett watching him with watchful but calm eyes as she rummaged around her pack to grab a quick snack for her and Pyrr as he came back to her for a little snack.

He accidentally touched one of the glowing fungi on the floor, causing a sound to come out as if he had touched an instrument. Pyrr didn't hesitate to immediately bolt behind Scarlett with his little confused and spooked look saying everything. Scarlett looked curious now, moving towards the nearest glowing shroom (with Pyrr firmly attached to her like a clingy baby) to poke at it to recreate the sound. This shroom made a different sound than the one Pyrr had touched.

"Do you want to check them again, Pyrr?" She queried, wanting to give her little man a chance to feel independent and confident to see that these were not dangerous or out to get them. He wouldn't move for some time, small but unsure hoof steps making their way to one particular bunch of mushrooms to check them for any other musical sounds. He noticed a small black shape hidden among them, Pyrr hesitating before poking at it and he was surprised that the sound that it made was a 'prrrt'. A black cat among the glowing shrooms?

The small black cat would meow almost silently as it rubbed itself up against the colt's legs as if it was meeting an old friend. Though he had just found this small and skinny cat, Pyrr already felt a strange connection towards the furry void. And it seemed to agree that it didn't waste any time in jumping up onto his back, curling up into a fuzzy void of sleepiness. Pyrr started to play around with the shrooms with his new friend on his back, spending a long while making mental notes of what each shroom sounded like, pondering if it was something more than just a unique quirk of the dungeons. Scarlett waited by the entrance he walked through, both as a lookout and to watch her charge start to make sounds in an order that reminded her and Pyrr of a flute-like instrument. Where he had heard this song before she didn't know, but it seemed to be of great amusement to the colt who was making his way to solving whatever puzzle this was for a good number of hours.
