She didn’t remember the years that she slept.
She remembered playing in the dungeons with her sister, sneaking away from their parents like the naughty children they were pretending to be. They fell into a cavern with dark, living liquid, the sounds pushing them forwards. They gave heed, giggling and pushing at each other, shrieking when the liquid reached towards them.
And then they saw the stone box, with a lid heavier than they were. “Let’s open it!” she’d squealed, dissolving into a fit of giggles. “We can pretend to be monsters.”
“Okay!” Diarin had readily agreed, though her face quickly drooped into confusion, “But… how?”
Eirin couldn’t remember, maybe never knew how, but somehow it had come off and she’d eagerly started to climb inside, and came face to face with that of another child, deep brown eyes wide in a death mark of surprise. She hadn’t been sure how to respond, too young to give stock to fear, but she knew something was odd. She’d giggled again, though this time it had felt a little forced, and the eyes had blinked at her. By the time the beautiful child took his first breath, she’d fallen asleep and could not remember any more.
Neither Elayne nor Diarin, nor even her parents, had ever told her what happened during that time, so she probably didn’t know. She was alive, and happy, and had slowly been realizing that Elayne loved her. What was there to complain about?
“Anyhow, that’s my story! Why are you in the dungeon, Logue?” She turned her bright smile on her companion, tail swishing merrily as they walked across the spongy, desolate ground.
The cone smiled ruefully at the cotton candy, his eyes crinkling at the corner. “Nothing so impressive as that - I still feel as though I’m new to the dungeons, and they’re just… fascinating. Like… do you see those ‘birds’ over there?” He gestured across the battlefield, to creatures dark and oddly wavy on the edges, as though they weren’t entirely real.
She nodded eagerly with a bright smile. “I’ve talked to one before. It told me my sister’s gods were dead, but we knew that already, so I gave it a piece of bat Elayne found and it went away.”
Logue just stared at her for a moment, but she was used to it. “Well. Should we go see what these ones have to say? I never thought to ask.”

DD3. Every bone half-buried on the battlefield was picked clean long ago, but still, crows land on them. At least… They look like crows from afar. Do you get closer? What do you see?
