The call of the dungeons had dragged Ermintrude back into its entrails again, alone this time. Seemed like it was her way to retreat when she felt the need to recharge her social batteries. She was so confident in the first levels that it didn't even scare her in the slightest, it was like a second home for her. She knew almost any pathway, traps, and dead ends. But there was still a tiny thrill in her, the one that tells you there's still more to find.

She had been roaming for so long without even realizing it, it's when her stomach rumbled that she told herself she may indeed need a break. Ermintrude walked toward a secluded cavern where a little stream of water was rolling down the stone walls into a small puddle. She liked it here, it was unknown enough to never be bothered, and the subtle sound of the water made the atmosphere soothing.

The mare laid down, opened one of the pouches attached to her harness, and grabbed a package, it wasn't wrapped very well and there was a childish smiling fish doodle drawn on it that made her smirk. She opened it to reveal a fish sandwich that seemed very tasteful and well-prepared. The mare slowly began eating it, thinking about the cook who made it for her. Merpus would never fail to prepare her something when she'd tell she was out in the dungeons. He sure was annoying most of the time but she couldn't lie about the fact that he was endearing, in his own way, that's for sure, the dude was very awkward and clumsy with others, but he tried his best and that was obvious he cared about her.

The meal fulfilled her hunger and warmed her heart, Ermintrude stood back up, went for a drink in the little puddle, and decided to go back to her exploration of the dungeon.
