Silas was trotting along the lesser hot hallways of the Earthen Furnace, preferring to stay out of the way of the larger lava pools. Things always seemed to go wrong near them, so far he's only lost items to them luckily. And he'd like to keep it that way. He walked up to a certain cracked wall, it looked suspicious. Maybe a hidden entrance was behind it? He studied it curiously. "What do you think?" He asked his Giant Moth friend, but it remained in place on a spot on his mane. 

Suddenly he heard a voice "Hello?" At first he thought it came from the crack, and tried to look through it to see if anyone was behind it. "sir?" He heard a voice again, but this time it was clear it came from the hallway he was in. He blinked a few times with his eyes and turned away from the crack. Maybe he could study it some other time. 

"Oh hello, can I help you?" He said politely once he was facing an unfamiliar but non threatening courser.

"Uh yeah, can you help me? I need to return to the surface... but uh... i'm lost.." They said awkwardly. They probably felt a little embarrassed. 

" I can help you if you like, I should return anyways, I've been down here long enough" He shrugged. "I'm Silas btw, and this creature on my mane is my Giant moth friend buddy, so no need to be afraid. Follow me" He had spoken, quickly introducing the unknown courser to his Moth buddy so they knew it wasn't a threat. 

The other courser sheepishly introduced themselves as well, and they were on their way. Soon they'd make it out of the dungeon alive. He had actually left a little sooner than he wanted, but at least he could help someone by doing so, and that mattered more to him.
