It has been days - maybe even weeks - since Bayle had seen the sun's rays. Wearily, he trotted further into The Moor of Sleep. Due to it being his first time in the moor, Bayle has decided to do this dive alone. While he loved his party of Huntyer and Rome, the two never seemed to shut up. In the unknown territory, it looks better to do it stealthily instead of bringing those two chatterboxes with him.
Together with his fire ant Jim - who had cozied up happily in his saddle bags. Jim was always welcome to join his adventures. His warmth and ease to grab treasures in even the smallest of corners is always a bonus point.
He had almost missed it, but in the corner of his eye, he spotted it. A red glowing jewel. With a quick canter, he made his way to where he saw the jewel. He kneeled, trying to grab it with his hooves, yet it was too far hidden under a few heavy boulders. With a quick whistle, Jim appeared from his saddlebags. The ant knew his task, quickly going into the crevice. With ease, he grabbed the jewel and brought it back to Bayle. "Good job, Jim". Happily, the ant nodded his head and went back to the saddlebags. He knew he was going to get a big mealworm later at the camp due to his good behavior.
The jewel seemed to be a ruby, a cracked one at that. Even though it was cracked, it still seemed to have a faint magical glow to it. Carefully, Bayle examined it before his eyes caught something peculiar. A few symbols were on it. With a few wipes from an old rag, Bayle removed the remaining dirt from the necklace. Surprised, and; maybe even shocked, Baytle looked closer at it. The symbols were two keys. The two keys unmistakably were the symbols of The Order Of The Locked Gate! but how did it get here? Did it get lost? There's no way somebody of the order had been here before.
His mind was quickly made up, he needed to show this necklace to the keyholders. There is no way that this is even remotely possible.
