Tse’a was relieved to see one of the many Dungeon entrances. It had been a good few days of Dungeoneering, more than Tse’a had planned to go. He was excited to be out and go home, but not to disregard the efforts of his partner. Tse’a turned, looking towards Fetch. The Courser stood a few steps back, blinking steadily at him.

“You don’t leave the Dungeon that much, do you?” Tse’a asked with a soft hum, tilting his head. That was to be expected, the Courser had a reputation for that. Born in the Dungeon, she knew it better than the colors of her hooves.

“What reason would I have to leave? The Dungeon is my home,” Fetch answered with a soft nod, glancing behind her. “The same way the surface is yours. I come and go on the surface, just as you come and go in the Dungeon.”

Tse’a nodded as she spoke. That made sense. “I see. Thank you for indulging my curiosity, then. Until I see you next time,” he said, dipping his head. He turned to leave, but heard soft trotting behind him. Tse’a paused, then glanced behind him. “Yes?”

Fetch stared at him, then let out a soft breath. “Where is your home?” she asked. “The surface dwellers all seem to live in a wide variety of areas. Some live in kingdoms, cities… one fellow had a nest in the woods. What about you?” she questioned. Tse’a was a bit taken aback, that is the most he had ever heard her speak. But he offered a little smile, he loved to indulge curiosity.

“I live in one of the Kingdoms you mentioned,” he answered with a soft nod. “Tiarrulth is its name. It’s located near the edge of a massive cliff, tons of huge, beautiful rocks tower around it. I’m the Head Oracle of Tiarrulth, so I’m responsible for determining the will of all things spiritual,” Tse’a explained. Fetch seemed to be processing this information, and perhaps it was maybe too much for them at once. The other horse nodded, dipped her head, then turned to retreat back into the Dungeon.

Tse’a let out a soft breath. He could respect that. The purple Courser began down the old, beaten path towards his kingdom. It was a long way back, given this particular entrance would not connect to Tiarrulth’s entrances for several days. This was, simply, a much faster route. He walked for hours, the path slowly becoming cleaner, then bits of flat stone mingled in. Tse’a began to trot, the stones meant that Tiarrulth was close. He could see large walls in the distance, a bright Courser visible outside.

Sárkány was smiling at him, trotting close to meet him halfway. Tse’a moved to rub his head against his neck, laughing softly. “What are you doing out here?” he asked.

“Coming out to meet you, duh?” Sárkány answered, snickering.

Tse’a scoffed playfully, flicking his tail to gently smack Sárkány. “I know that. You have a kingdom to run, you goof. You know I will report to you as soon as I get back, anyways.”

“Oh, so I’m not allowed to meet you out here?” Sárkány asked playfully. Tse’a rolled his eyes, moving to follow Sárkány as he went through the large doors into their kingdom. His home.

What is ‘home’ to you? Where do you go when the adventure is done, and who is there with you? Are you a surface-dweller, or have you adapted completely to the dungeons?
