[DD1] Polite Request
Prompt: You are climbing up a rocky incline when the ledge begins to shake, rolling under your hooves like joints being stretched. You have in fact stepped on several moss-covered golems. They don’t seem to mean you any harm, but you have awakened them from a restful slumber, and your way forward is above their shoulders. What do you say to these stone giants?

Lhindir saw a new path up a ledge, just a little too big for him to get up without some assistance. Looking around he saw some large stones that would make the perfect steps. Each was covered in a layer of moss he hoped would give him a better foothold during the climb. Leaping up onto the first stone he felt confident that this would be the perfect way up.
The stones began to shift, nearly knocking him off. Before he could lose his balance and get hurt he leapt from the stone and got some distance between himself and the moving pile of stones. He watched as the stones not only rolled, but stood. A stone golem appeared from the pile and the large round head turned to look at the courser. Eyes engraved into the stone glowed slightly as if lighting up.
“Apologies,” Lhindir said.
The stone golem looked at him and nodded, accepting the apologies.
“I do not mean to impose, but would you consider helping me get up there?”
Lhindir pointed up to the top of the ledge.
The creature looked from the courser to the top of the ledge and then back at Lhindir. It nodded and lowered one of their large stone hands.
Lhindir hopped up onto the hand and braced himself as the hand began to rise, lifting him up from the bottom of the ledge to the top. As the hand came to sit level with the ledge, he jumped off and turned around.
“Thank you, kind golem,” he chimed.
The golem nodded and seemed pleased before curling back up to sleep. Leaving the courser to continue on his way, deeper into the dungeon.
