Moonlit trotted alongside another Dungeon Courser she came across; Logue. He was quite a pretty stallion, with cream-colored fur and an odd but pretty brindle pattern on his pelt. Moonlit was more than happy to join. However, she stopped as she realized it was hotter than usual.

"Um, where are we?" Moonlit asked.

Logue smiled, "Oh, the lava pits, why?" He asked.

"Lava?!" Moonlit immediately stepped back.

"It's fine, don't worry! We've never had a problem, you two will-"

"Cocoa has wings!" Moonlit interjected. "If he falls, he can just fly away from the lava. If Marmalade-" Moonlit stopped, not even wanting to think about it.

Logue trots over to her with a gentle smile. "It's okay. If he falls, Cocoa will catch him." Moonlit is still hesitant. The other side of the put seemed to call her name, but imagining her adorable little Marmalade anywhere near the lava makes her knees feel weak with anxiety.

Marmalade, meanwhile, is laying on Moonlit's back, stretched out in a sploot to combat the heat building on his orange fur.

"How about I let you go ahead of me, and I'll keep watch over Marmalade?" Logue asks.

Moonlit hesitated, thinking it over once, twice, then three times, before nodding.

The next thing Moonlit knew, she was slowly walking over a massive bridge. It might not have been so bad if it didn't feel so rickety. The rope and wood were so creaky, and the lava in the pit almost seemed to bubble with hunger. It felt like the bridge might cave in at any moment.

"It's alright, just walk. I'm right behind you." Logue said, keeping close to Marmalade. The little cat purred and nuzzled his snout.

Moonlit tried to get her mind off of her worry, focusing instead on Cocoa as the bat flew overhead, using its little wings to generate a cool breeze for itself as it flew.
