[DD1] Belial - DD #2-2
As Belial and Beel proceeded, the mossy walls and floor gradually became more and more bare, leaving only rock, but to Belial’s surprise, it was no rough cave wall, but rather smooth and symmetrical stone blocks. Curious. They didn’t think too much of it and continued onwards, entering a large room full of adorned pillars and arches. The motifs of the paintings seemed to be coursers, very colourful and beautiful craft.
Belial was so busy studying and analyzing the frescoes and arches that he didn’t notice the water that had risen up to his fetlocks until he was taking a step forward. He wasn’t sure where the water came from, but there were some grates that supposedly was leading water in. He looked over at Beel, who was just looming over the calm water, seemingly looking down into it. Belial wasn’t sure what his mimic was up to, but he also didn’t bother asking, as it couldn’t speak anyway. He knew Beel would follow once he started to walk off, that mimic was like a lost puppy, after all. And right on queue, just as Belial started leaving the premises, seeing as they had nothing to do here, Beel followed suit.
