Sydney stopped as the sound of flowing water finally lead him to a stream running through a crevice in the rocks. He noticed an unusually sweet smell as he approached, and when he looked at the water he was amazed to see that it shimmered colorfully. He leaned down to look closer.

His amazement turned to skepticism as he wondered if this water was really safe to drink. Surely the way that it looked and smelled was highly unnatural. It could be enchanted with strange magics to lure in Coursers such as himself and do who knows what to them. He lifted his head, snorting. No, this would not do. He would not fall for such a thing, in spite of how beautiful the water was and how tasty it smelled. And how thirsty he was. 

He took several steps back away from the water and turned around. He would find another place to drink. 

But as he walked away, he found himself glancing over his shoulder at the mysterious colored stream.
