Story:
Archangel looked at the wall. This was stuff he saw often- but not like this. Of course, he still found it beautiful, yet haunting. Artwork usually lined walls found in the dungeon, ones that served as special rooms for... anything, really. At the time, mostly people.

The rustic figures were jagged and disproportionate, with large open eyes and open mouths. They looked very stressed and upset, which made Archangel greatly uncomfortable. Usually he wasn't, but in this case... it was a bit much. He knew it came from the humans as horses, from what he knew, couldn't draw in such a way. And hopefully wouldn't.

Why would humans draw them like this? What were they doing to the horses, did they know they were stressed? Perhaps these paintings were older than the kingdoms themselves- after all, this was a cave. It was not a man-made cave. But... perhaps something else intelligent was rising from the depths. Something that hated them.

Archangel noted that it would not make sense. It simply wouldn't. If something else, especially something intelligent was living, they'd know by now. Every day horses adventure into the depths to learn more and gain riches. They'd know.

He stared at the walls. Dry, not wet. The paintings could of been around for a while. It was likely that his guess was correct. Older than a kingdom? Highly doubtful. Humans usually stayed on the surface, much more than horses now do. The walls showed no sign of water leakage, which often was a good sign. However the air was a tad moist. Yes, perhaps they were recent.

The question still stayed in his head, which was why someone would even paint his species in such a way. It felt as if they were all in fear, in fear and being chased. That would at least explain why they were in a herd and running with such frantic expressions.
