[DD1] Where to next

He had gotten lost. Not knowing where to go he looked at anything that could look familiar to him but nothing. Defeated, he resigned to think it over. Maybe he should retrace his steps? He looks at his giant moth friend with insecurity, but the moth, unable to speak, ofcourse said nothing back. It had helped him before, but he felt it was unfair to keep relying on his winged friend. He had to try things on his own too!

He talked some courage into himself and tried again. He started by retracing his steps, maybe there was something along the way he’d recognise that he might have missed. But it came out fruitless, as he recognised nothing. He then tried to look into the paths ahead, maybe trot a few steps down the paths to see if he saw anything there. But again, nothing.

Eventually, after hours of not knowing what to do, he relied on the giant moth again, asking it sheepishly and feeling slightly guilty, if it could get help for him.

Help it got him. It had found a map somewhere lost on a rock and brought it back to SIlas. Relieved he took the map, and let the moth get some well earned rest on his back while he figured out the map and looked for the next path to take.

"Though the dungeons are well-trodden in the Age of Coursers, they are too vast to avoid getting lost occasionally. How is your sense of direction? What do you do when you realize you don’t know where you are?"
