[DD1] Pots Push their Luck
"I already told you... I don't have anything..." Haziness spoke with a soft whine, attempting to walk away and watching as the posse of pots followed behind her.
"Yeah right! You horses got plenty of treasure just spewin' out your bags! What makes you think you can trick us?" One of the larger pots spoke, complaining and lightly knocking into Hazi's leg.
The courser sighed lightly. "For the last time, I really don't have anything. I'm not lying to you. I've only just started dungeoneering..." She was interrupted by another pot knocking into her leg, enough to be a little painful. When she looked at her leg, she even saw a small cut where the lid of the pot had knocked against her.
She often tried not to get mad, it never brought anything good to herself or anybody else. Especially in moments like this, where she was interacting with beasts of the dungeon, she had to keep her cool... but being injured by a pot of all things was when her patience snapped.
Her leg lifted and came down quicker than one would expect, crushing one of the smaller pots underneath her hoof before it could even think about moving out of the way.
The pots went silent, their shattered comrade's shards making a twinkling sound as they hit the ground.
"Now. If you would excuse me." Hazi's words were final as she continued to walk. This time, no pots dared to follow her. It would seem that the pots were too shocked to even think about following. Even the more aggressive sounding coursers hadn't gone as far as to shatter one of them.
Maybe in the future they wouldn't push their luck.
You enter a chamber in search of treasure, but find only a pile of clay pots. You’re about to turn away when they come alive, their lids yammering like mouths. They complain of the Wizard’s negligence, and that c’mon, they’re starving here. Do you give them an offering?
