[DD3] An Ancient Hum

The large puck walked quietly through the haunted battlefield. His ears twitched and flicked as he was followed by a black stallion by the name of Terrence. Hellish didn't pay him much mind however, and it seemed to be mutual for the other. They wandered in silence, kicking over rocks and old helmets to check for any loot only to be met with nothing but dust.

Eventually Terrence sighed from frustration, tail brushing dirt off the ground. "You don't seem too talkative for a diver." He huffs.

Hellish narrowed his brows, turning to look back at the other before resuming his walk. He lowered his head, sniffing around a thick pile of old stone before easily pushing up a few bricks with his hoof. "I don't normally have company unless its for heavy work. Diving solo is not commonly 'heavy work'" He mumbles.

Terrence shuffled across the ground, raising his chin as he looked around the old field for signs of anything around. Strange...normally by now there could be a rotting corpse rising up on its feet or odd crows pecking at adventurers. Yet for once it felt quiet...alone.

Hellish ended up trotting a bit away from the other, only to pause as he came across a strange instrument resting in the old dirt. It was round...made of leather and wood from the looks of it. And it did indeed have skin on it. Whether it was a courser or some other animal was hard to tell however, the smell unrecognizable to him. The puck glanced back at Terrence who was subtly watching him along with the rest of the moor.

Hellish huffed quietly and looked back at the instrument. He raised a hoof, tapping the surface of the object with perked ears. Unfortunately though, any sound that this object might've made in the past was long gone by the tear within the skin of the drum.
"...Terrence, do you know what this is?"

Terrence perked up, an uninterested expression on his face as he walked over. Upon seeing the instrument he let out a small hum. "A drum. An old one too. You never heard one, hm?"

Hellish's expression seemed to shift to genuine curiosity for only a few seconds before he shook his head. With a stubborn huff he turned away and looked back at the other. "...No. Let's keep looking for something useful now.:
