Home... is a foreign concept to Winslow. She has no memories before awaking in the darkness of a dungeon deep below the surface. In fact, she has never been to the surface to her knowledge. A deep indescribable force keeps her below, staying in the shadows. Even the ambient light of the dungeons feels harsh to Winslow on most occasions. She remains almost exclusively in the darkest parts of the Buried Kingdom.

Winslow also keeps to herself more often than not. While she doesn't avoid fellow coursers, she doesn't seek them out. They tend to find her unsettling with her monotone voice and perceived apathy. However, her unusual nature is incredibly useful when it comes to adventuring. With no memories of her past, she feels she has nothing to lose when she wanders the depths. It's even led to her finding a curious companion in the form of a floating eye. Winslow refers to him as her Scryer, her extra eye to see the truth within the caverns she explores.
