Phantom slowly trudged through the moss and glossy greens. Rested on top of their back was a maroon blanket and a strap with two satchels on each end full of supplies, mostly emergency herbs or food if needed in case they stayed overnight. Phantom was rather new to the diving business, and it showed with how they walked. Just the smallest scattering of mice running across the path ahead caused them to flinch and take a good few steps back.

Despite Phantom's heart beginning to race at the smallest scare, they seemed to continue down the path. And eventually they came across quite an interesting trophy...or perhaps a memorial?
It was a courser head, mounted and decorated to the base with jewels. Whatever this signified, it seemed to be a praise rather than a punishment. But the jewels or bridle wasn't what intrigued this young courser, it was the item lodged between the mount's jaws.

Phantom's ears twisted forward. They moved to put the torch in a holder nearby before turning their head back to observe the mount. It was certainly shiny...a metal perhaps? Curiosity seemed to rise the more this courser observed the mount. They were fighting the urge to reach their snout out to try and pry free the strange apparatus, and Phantom almost did. However a voice screamed from the back of their head that a trap could very well be set if they grabbed it..

Phantom let out a small huff, eyes narrowing at the mount before reaching to grab their Torch and heading off to continue their dive.
