[HARD] RP - The Known Unknown - Campaign #5-1
Dillyweed | Köl / Söl
It was the first campaign for Köl and he was rather eager to show himself as a great asset. It wasn't for any specific reason. Rather, he figured it was the best thing to be able to get his career to skyrocket upwards so he could start doing Dungeon Dives by himself instead. He figured there'd cash in both but at least he wouldn't actively have to be in a team. He could be on his own. Care and cater for only himself. It was the dream.
The green snake called William Snakespeare coiled around his neck. It hissed quietly when anyone got close so Köl was always aware when others were in his personal space, which was quite often in the cave systems.
Söl had a slightly bad feeling about the newest member of the team. There was something about Köl that gave him the ick from the first moment of them meeting. But he couldn’t really put it into words. Maybe it was the snake and how the snake looked at Bart the Bat like he was food. Either way Söl kept out of his way and didn't bother him much. There was no reason for why he felt like this after all. Köl had done nothing at all to indicate anything bad. He was friendly when you spoke to him and was quite eager to show what he could do.
The team of Coursers walked down the tunnels. They were in an earthly tunnel system. There were roots sticking out of the walls where there was dirt instead of stone. Köl had respectfully taken up a secondary position at the front. He didn't seem to want to take first spot. The lead. Out of respect for Senbonzakura and Stroheimer he let them walk first. He would start conversations with them. Mostly about the caves and adventures they had previously been on. But he wouldn't really start any conversations with Söl when they were alone.
When the others were within eyesight after he would keep a casual conversation going to Söl. As to keep up a facade of friendliness but with Senbonzakura and Stroheimer.
But there were really no signs of anything evil or wrong about him other than Söls feeling and he didn't want to accidentally ruin Köl over a feeling. The party came to a stop. Söl understood why. There was a small snoring coming from ahead of them. Something had made the tunnel it's place of rest. They either had to pass it or return back to where they came from.

AberrantKapro | Strohmeier / Senbonzakura
Senbonzakura sighed as Strohmeier had dragged along yet another new courser to the campaign. Söl was still there, thankfully, but he missed the badly hidden attention from Röl as if he admired him.
This new recruit, Köl, seemed capable. In the end, that was all that mattered, so the madder champagne once again did not voice any complaints. Strohmeier knew what he was doing.
Kinka and Micke had found a new hobby, however. And that was to harass the green snake Köl carried around his strong neck. They took turns jumping up toward the snake, who got increasingly angry for each jump. They had given up on Bart, that bat never wanted to play with them anyway, so boring!
Eventually, Strohmeier cleared his throat. “Micke, Kinka. That's enough.” he said firmly, and the two pets stopped jumping and just ran up ahead to play together undisturbed, as they usually ended up doing when being told off for whatever reason. They thankfully knew to stay relatively quiet, and therefore played quietly and gently in the dirt.
Suddenly, the two pets stopped and just perked their ears straight forward, and it didn't take long for the four coursers to catch up and hear what they had heard. A light snore, just barely audible due to the dirt absorbing some of the noise.
Senbonzakura and Strohmeier had been in a similar situation before, with Söl that time as well, so they looked back to the others, and they all knew what they had to do.
Quietly, the group proceeded to walk through the sleeping chambers of the furless beast that they eventually spotted, it laid pressed against the wall, facing away from them.
Strohmeier was very thankful that this time, there was dirt everywhere, they didn't have to worry as much about accidentally making too much noise, but it was still best to be as careful as equinely possible.
Senbonzakura nodded for Micke and Kinka to sneak ahead of them through an exit not too far away, and the coursers slowly followed them. One careful step at a time. Waking the beast could end up really badly, after all, they had no idea what they were dealing with. While similar to that creature that had encountered before, it still seemed different. At least at a quick glance.
