Moonlit trotted into the darkened caverns like she lived in them her whole life. Despite originally being born on the surface, like most Dungeon Coursers, the pull of the dungeon's depths was too great, and she couldn't help but explore inside. Joined by her lovable orange cat - Marmalade - Moonlit trotted into the depths without a second thought.

   "It's pretty, in a way, isn't it?" Moonlit asked. Marmalade shook his head and gave a small meow in response, as he stretched a little on her shoulders. Moonlit smiled. Marmalade always meowed back to her, like he was talking to her. An endearing little trait she loved in the little fluffy ball.

   As Moonlit and her cat climbed down further into the depths of the cavernous dungeon, Moonlit paused as something glowing caught her eye. She turned to see a small glowing mushroom down one tunnel. Moonlit approached it, the greenish hue of its glow making her black pelt appear blue in its light. She soon noticed more and followed them, only to find them growing in an odd pattern.

   Once Moonlit got to the larger grouping, she tilted her head in curiosity. She leaned in as Marmalade watched, casually licking his paw as she sniffed at the mushrooms. Suddenly, as her nose touched it, a soft sound came from it, making her and Marmalade jump. Marmalade leapt off her back, landing on a few, which also let out sounds, scaring Marmalade onto a nearby ledge.

   Moonlit looked around, then smiled. "Oh, I see. They make sounds when touched." She brushed a few with her hoof to hear their sound, but as it plays a soft little tune, she realizes the ledge Marmalade was sitting on shifted when she played that specific tune. "…Hmm. Interesting. Like a musical lock of some kind, maybe?" Marmalade meowed in response. "Well, I guess we'll be seeing for ourselves, won't we?"
