Level 1 - Dungeon Dive  - #1 - Crispin

Story:
Crispin attempted to jolt back to the edge of the bridge, but to no avail. It was far into the dark, only a sliver of light touching the edges. The dungeon that he currently explored was dark. He felt that the creature below him was alive- but before much thought, his focus shifted to the speed of the beast. Light was reaching through the above air, painting the what he thought was a centipede in a golden color. The rushing of wind tried to push him backward, but he held still until he began to run forward along the monster.

Crispin considered carefully what he should do- the area below wasn't so far, if he fell he would have injuries. But having injuries could mean danger...

The centipede continued to throw itself forward, millions of legs scraping against the stone as it hauled itself over small boulders in the way. Lucky for Crispin, it didn't dip heavily down to where he could easily fall or not be able to climb up the beast.

The beast would twist- enough to scare Crispin, who through quick thought would jump whenever it twisted enough that it was dangerous. Light caught his attention, soaking the edge of a cliff in a dim yellow. This was his chance to jump!

Prompt:
A deep crack in the cave floor poses an obstacle. A convenient bridge seems to be laid out before you, but when you step on it to cross, it begins to move underneath your hooves! Thousands of legs undulate on either side of a gigantic millipede that you have disturbed. Can you ride this bronco to the other side?
