Phoebe and Star walked back into a large cavern. Phoebe’s eyes darted around as the magma around her bubbled and cracked. “Let’s take a quick break.” Phoebe suggested. Star nodded, and sat her things down as she drew in a deep breath. 

Phoebe shrieked as magma began pooling around her. Star jumped forward, and upon seeing the magma now pooling around her, stopped. “Phoebe?” Star asked, her voice shaky. “Star, we are going to have to run. Now.” Phoebe shouted, jumping over the magma, and running to safety. Star stood, frozen. “Star! Come on!” Phoebe shouted from across the cavern. Star felt utterly frozen, and with fear coursing through her veins, didn’t dare to move. The magma pooled closer to her hooves. “Let’s go! Come on Star!” Phoebe shouted, trying to get her attention. But Star still didn’t move. 

“Let’s go!” A rough voice growled, pushing Star. Star jumped into movement, and quickly bounded out of the hot situation. The stallion following them to safety. 

“What were you thinking?” The stallion questioned. It was a beautiful white Courser with red eyes. Behind him, a bay with some white on his face, stood watching the whole ordeal. “Crispin?” Phoebe asked. “Phoebe, it’s great to see you. Next time, make sure to keep your friend closer to your side.” Crispin suggested. Crispin and the beautiful bay left them, and continued their dive.
