Rufus was mentally patting himself on the back for how well this dungeon delve was going so far, finding his stride, trotting along contentedly, when all of a sudden an abandoned piece of armor on the ground moved. Rufus reared back, letting out a panicked whinny. The chanfron was being carried on the back of a giant… crab type thing, with many chitinous limbs and eyes on short stalks. 

Rufus looked around frantically, unsure of what to do. The hermit crab seemed quite harmless, but nonetheless he was a little afraid to get closer, even just to walk past it. He took a deep breath, steeling his nerves, and carefully stepped around the creature, which scuttled away as he did so. This startled Rufus, and he quickly trotted away. Thank goodness that was over.
