"I am... not going in there."

Mitigation looked over to Vex with a frown. Of course he would say that upon immediately finding out that it was in fact a door in front of them and not some cartoonishly monstrous face. However, Mitigation wasn't going to let their adventuring partner just turn around and walk away from an obvious path forwards.

"Yes, you are going in there. And you can't intimidate me into giving in this time! What is so bad about it? That it was a little bit flashy for a door opening?" Mit sighed, stomping their hoof down as they looked to the taller courser and furrowed their brow. Unfortunately for them, the only response Vex gave for a moment was a roll of his eyes.

Mit knew what the silence afterwards meant. It meant that Vex was going to lecture them for who knows how long after finding the words in his mind. And that didn't take long at all, the other courser starting to ramble as he motioned to the door.

"First of all, we don't even know where it goes. It could lead us into danger beyond our comprehension, which might be why it's behind such a dramatic door. Second of all, what part of your mind thinks it's a good idea to walk into a mouth, fake or otherwise?"

Stars above, Mitigation was already feeling tired just listening to the other courser ramble about possibilities. Out of all things, they hadn't expected Vex to be so paranoid about something like this.

"Well, the mouth is obviously a door. It could be dangerous, or it could be something amazing! Besides, do you see any other way forwards?" Mit overexaggerated their movements as they looked from left to right, obviously emphasizing the fact that there was no other path to take from here.

Vexation took more time to look, obviously actually looking for another path to take. The smaller courser took the chance to mentally attack the man now that he was silent. "Or, we could leave... and not bring back any treasure, and then Madness could laugh at us because you didn't want to walk into a doorway."

Suddenly, they found themself being pushed, Vex's large body shoving them towards the door. It would seem that the idea of the younger choleric man making fun of Vexation was enough to put his anxieties aside for the sake of his pride. Mit simply allowed themself to be shoved through the open maw of the doorway, smirking to themself as Vex grumbled above them.

"I swear, if we get injured during this, I'm blaming you."
